MarineTracks’ solution is a simple, self-powered, satellite tracking device. Small and lightweight it can be fitted and active within 15 minutes and not a wire to be seen! The unit works on the Iridium satellite network with built in GPS and Iridium transceiver offering true global coverage.
The unit also has an alert switch which can be triggered onboard in an emergency notifying race headquarters by SMS. The trackers are supported by a simple and user friendly web application, compatible with a range of web browsers on both Mac and Windows platforms. Real-time viewer shows new positions as soon as they are received and previous users agree that the simple reassurance provided by knowing where the boats were at any time is immeasurable.

We had very specific requirements for the Round Britain Race and the MarineTrack system more than satisfied our needs. It was a brilliant resource for the safety control of the race and an invaluable tool for me, as Safety Officer. It took away the strain of knowing where the boats where and reduced the need for a lot of other extra communication equipment. 2008 Round Britain Powerboat Race
After looking at the market we selected MarineTrack to provide our
fleet tracking information. The installation of the equipment was very
simple and the technical support we received during the race was
excellent... The result was a big step forward not only in the tracking
of ocean going racing yachts and the increased excitement for race fans
but also in the media coverage received and the remote handling of
